Our new book is out!
Niggli Verlag has just released our new book ‘Where Future Grows – changing working environments’,
a love letter to the office.
The authors Jan Teunen, Christoph Quarch and Martin Häusler explain why traditional office spaces urgently need to be transformed.
The second part of the book features conversations with leading figures in future work and architecture: architect Michele De Lucchi, curator Hans-Ulrich Obrist, journalists Andrew Tuck (Monocle) and Robert Thiemann (Frame and Betterness), developer Dorine de Vos, as well as renowned real estate developers and investors such as Laura Hines-Pierce and Rob Speyer (Tishman Speyer), Francoise Trausch (Pimco) and Michael Phillips (Jamestown).
The third part begins with an essay by garden designer Piet Oudolf, ‘Learning from Gardens,’ and continues with 10 portraits of special projects we call ‘Neighbourhoods for the Future.
The book also includes a poetic photo series by Manfred Jarisch with images on the theme of people at work, office environments and nature.
